RRR team creates history as Naatu Naatu gets nominated for Best Original Song at Oscars 2023

The wait is finally over! The nominations for the 95^th Academy Awards have been announced and, RRR song Naatu Naatu has been nominated for Best Original Song. Yes, you read that right. RRR team has again created history.

RRR song Naatu Naatu has been nominated alongside Applause, Hold My Hand, Lift Me Up, and This Is A Life. Naatu Naatu is composed by MM Keeravani and is sung by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

RRR team shared their excitement on social media. RRR’s official Instagram page shared a picture of Ram Charan and Jr NTR from Naatu Naatu song and wrote, “WE CREATED HISTORY!! Proud and privileged to share that #NaatuNaatu has been nominated for Best Original Song at the 95^th Academy Awards #Oscars #RRRMovie.”

RRR starred Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris. Recently, at an event, Ajay praised SS Rajamouli and the entire RRR team. The actor said, “When the films from our industry work, we feel very proud. The industry benefits a lot. Rajamouli has taken the film internationally. Today, when we see James Cameron and others making statements about RRR, our industry is getting recognised and we feel proud. It is a great feeling and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. The more awards the film bags, the better it will be.”

For the uninitiated, RRR song Naatu Naatu earlier won the Globe Globe award for Best Original Song and made India proud.
